Newton Wedding
A long time coming for these high school sweethearts! Finally wedding day for Sarah and Seth! We made the trip to Millry AL early that morning to celebrate with these two alongside their family and friends at their church in the quaint town where they grew up. As we pulled into the parking lot, we could already see the church parking lot buzzing with all hands on deck to create this beautiful day for the almost, Mr. and Mrs. As we walked inside, we were quickly met with the bride and grooms mothers who are both always full of energy and bright smiles!!
The day quickly progressed as we began taking pictures of all the details that were carefully and strategically planned while the girls finished up hair and makeup. Sarahs dad made his way to the church in his suite and ready for his first look with his stunning daughter. We were all in tears witnessing him react as his emotions overflowed through his eyes when he turned to see her. Such a sweet moment!
Up next, we set her brother Kaleb up to see his sister for the first time as a lovely bride! He was all smiles and his fun self when he turned around. We were all laughing so hard when he said she looked beautiful…and immediately asked how much that gorgeous dress cost. Haha!!!
We were laughing until the next first look with the grooms parents. Their reaction to seeing her, was just a small testament to how they feel about her. And the tears intensified as soon as the mom saw the lockets on Sarahs bouquet in honor of their oldest son, and the parents who were joining us from heaven that day. And then it was no surprise when the bridesmaids got their turn to see Sarah! All…the…tears! It was so special!
At the ceremony, their pastor who you could just feel cared for these two as he spoke of them as children and their marriage counseling days; spoke on the different types of love and charged them both to love each other and the Lord well. It was beautiful and so full of truth.
After the ceremony and a few moments of family portraits, we walked across the street to a field that was just begging for us to take their pictures in while the sun was setting so beautifully! At the reception, we enjoyed delicious food that you could taste was prepared with love…not to mention the 4 different flavors of cake that was hard to choose from!
After the bouquet and garter toss, Sarah and Seth shared a kiss on the sparkler lined sidewalk as they made their way to the newly invested in antique car that most can only dream about!!! They are now in the mountains enjoying time hiking and taking in all that the Fall/Winter season has to offer during their first few days as Mr. and Mrs. Newton! Congratulations you guys!!! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your beautiful day!! Here are some of the highlights from our day!
